Using The Wall
By creating a wall, joining a wall, posting content, enabling facilitator tools, or otherwise using The Wall, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Wall is a shared reflection tool for classes, workshops, and similar group settings. It is meant to help facilitators run collaborative walls where participants can post text, images, reactions, replies, and optional voice-based or AI-assisted content.
Eligibility
The Wall is intended for people who are at least 13 years old. This public version is not designed for children under 13.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use The Wall only with the permission and supervision your parent, guardian, school, or organization requires.
Accounts, Walls, And Access
Facilitators create walls, choose wall names and slugs, and set a facilitator access PIN. You are responsible for keeping that PIN secret and for activity taken under it. Facilitator access is maintained in the browser with a secure session cookie.
Participants do not create separate accounts. They join a wall with a display name they enter in the browser, and that display name may be stored locally on their device to make returning to the wall easier.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you submit. By posting or uploading content, you give The Wall a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and process that content solely to run, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
That includes syncing content through our infrastructure, showing it to people with access to the same wall, generating AI reflections, summaries, images, transcripts, quotes, and exports, and running moderation, abuse-prevention, and operational checks. Because walls are collaborative spaces, do not submit information you do not want facilitators or other viewers of the same wall to see.
AI Features
The Wall may use third-party AI providers for reflections, summaries, narrative views, personal pages, clustering, image generation, moderation, voice transcription, text-to-speech, and related features. Those systems may be unavailable, inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or biased.
AI output is provided for creative and facilitation purposes only. It is not professional, legal, medical, mental health, or educational advice, and it should not be treated as a definitive statement about any participant.
Acceptable Use
Do not use The Wall to harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, or demean anyone; to post unlawful, hateful, or sexually exploitative material; to upload content you do not have the right to share; or to interfere with the operation or security of the service.
If you enable microphone-based features, upload media, or import transcripts, you represent that you have the right to do so in that setting. Facilitators have primary moderation control for their own walls, and we may remove content, suspend walls, or restrict access when we believe these terms or applicable law have been violated.
Availability And Changes
The Wall is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, retention of every submission, or continued support for any specific feature or provider.
We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages, provider failures, moderation controls, or usage limits may interrupt the service.
Fees And Usage Limits
The current version of The Wall may apply technical or budget-based usage limits to AI and operational features. If we introduce paid plans or additional commercial terms later, we will present those terms before charging for them.
Warranty Disclaimer And Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Wall and its operator disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Wall and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to the service. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of The Wall after an update means you accept the revised terms.
